Entrepreneurship and transitions

Presentation

Entrepreneurship requires a deep understanding of the dynamics facing our societies. There are many transitions, whether technological, economic, ecological, societal or geopolitical. Entrepreneurs, business owners and SME managers need to be 'pilots in the plane', both agile and resilient in a constantly changing environment. Whether they are adapting to, participating in or initiating the various transitions, entrepreneurs have always been major players in the dynamics that shape the ecosystems in which businesses evolve.

These transitions are currently being experienced by entrepreneurs in all areas (rural, urban) and at all levels (local, national, international). They target all those involved in entrepreneurship, whether they are entrepreneurs, start-ups, experienced entrepreneurs or neophytes, as well as all types of businesses and all the players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem (incubators, accelerators, universities, local authorities, etc.). At an organisational level, transitions call into question companies' ability to adapt and their legitimacy to act. At the individual level, they raise questions about the skills, ethics, well-being and health of the entrepreneur.

With this in mind, the Académie de l'Entrepreneuriat et de l'Innovation conference is open to all work related to the fields of entrepreneurship, SMEs and innovation. The transitions faced by entrepreneurs raise questions for researchers in entrepreneurship and innovation, while also cutting across our field of research. This includes (but is not limited to) work on the emergence of new technological paradigms (AI, blockchain, etc.), as well as work on new, more sustainable and ethical economic models, and the societal changes facing entrepreneurs (migration, gender issues, minorities, etc.).

---------------------------

As in previous editions, the 2025 edition will be structured around :

Thematic sessions (or tracks) which provide in-depth treatment of specific subjects, and which are organised around specific calls for papers.

Varia sessions, for work that does not fit into the specific sessions.

In line with previous congresses, the 14th Congress will continue the AEI's efforts to open up internationally by giving a large place to colleagues from non-French-speaking countries and to submissions in English in addition to those in French.

All papers selected must be original (unpublished, not in the process of being evaluated in a journal or another conference).

---------------------------

Interested researchers are invited to propose a thematic session to host papers on a specific theme.

Those responsible for the tracks selected will organise the double-blind evaluation process for their track, in collaboration with the conference's scientific committee, which will ultimately validate the list of accepted papers. Submissions will be managed via the https://aei2025.sciencesconf.org/ platform.

Track chairs will also chair their session at the conference.
